Welcome to the SWSD Switzerland
The Society of the White Shepherd Dog Switzerland (official name: Gesellschaft Weisse Schäferhunde Schweiz, GWS) ist the sole breeding club for the Berger Blanc Suisse (BBS) / White Swiss Shepherd Dog.
On July 4th 2011 the FCI has definitely approved the breed standard No. 347 “Berger Blanc Suisse”. The GWS Switzerland has as the sole breeding club in Switzerland with SCS (Swiss Cynology Society) the sole responsibility for the BBS.
